Research and Development
Aerospace Systems Sustainment
The Air Force has awarded Airtronics research and development funding to investigate software applications to manage technical risk within the Sustainment Mission of the USAF. We are providing our expertise in Aerospace Sustainment to develop a tool for use at Systems Level to assist Supply Chain Engineering with technical risk management during Reengineering and New Technology insertion tasks.
Micro UAV Simulations and Robotics Development
Our Chief Scientist is currently developing theory and simulations for Micro UAV modeling as part of a thesis program. This is in conjunction with parallel programs in Power Harvesting and Micro Actuation. Our Chief Scientist is also a leading technologist within the autonomous systems community. He has served as a consultant to technology advisory boards for the O-6 Council and the Joint Staff at the OSD in Ground Robotics topics.
